Now that Christmas is over, we need to have some time to relax and to do Paper Crafts. This is a quick and easy paper project that you can do with the kids or as a special Valentine's gift for a friend. The color combinations are endless and this is a perfect way to use up scraps of Card Stock and Designer Series Paper.

CARD STOCK: Pear Pizzazz 8 1/2" X 11" Card Stock #119795, Blushing Bride 8 1/2" X 11" Card Stock #119796, Whisper White 8 1/2" X 11" Card Stock #100730
ACCESSORIES: Bone Folder #102300, Big Shot Die Cutting Machine (including the Standard Cutting Pads) #113439, Two Tags Bigz Dies #115954, Two Step Owl Extra Large Punch #11807, SNAIL Adhesive #104332, Stampin' Dimensionals #104430, Mini Glue Dots #103683, Craft & Rubber Scissors #103179, Sticky Strip #104294, Magnet Sheets #119816
INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Cut a piece of Pear Pizzazz Card Stock to measure 2 1/4" X 9".Fold in half and crease with a Bone Folder.
2) Assemble the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine "Sandwich" ~ one Standard Cutting Pad, Two Tags Bigz Die, the folded Pear Pizzazz Card Stock placed over the Scallop Edge Tag, and the other Standard Cutting Pad. Make sure that the folded end of Pear Pizzazz Card Stock is at the narrow end of the Scallop Edge Tag, and positioned so the fold won't be cut off. After it is cut out, you want your tag to be attached at the top and to form a tent. Run the "Sandwich" through the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine.
3) Cut a piece of Blushing Bride card Stock to measure 3 1/4" X 4". Punch the Blushing Bride Card Stock using the Two Step Owl Extra Large Punch.
4) Cut a piece of Pear Pizzazz Card Stock to measure 1 1/4" X 2". Flip the Two Step Owl Extra Large Punch over and insert the Pear Pizzazz Card Stock to cover the vest only. You will punch some of the other parts, but that is OK. These pieces can be thrown away.
5) Using a scrap piece of Whisper White Card Stock, flip the Two Step Owl Extra Large Punch over and insert the Whisper White Card Stock to cover the largest circles and punch.
6) Assemble the Owl by adhering the Pear Pizzazz vest onto the body using SNAIL Adhesive.
7) Using your Craft & Rubber Scissors, cut a couple of small pieces of Stampin' Dimensionals and use it to adhere the large Whisper White circles to the Owl's body.
8) Adhere the medium sized Blushing Bride circles to the Whisper White large circles using Mini Glue Dots.
9) Adhere the small sized Pear Pizzazz circles to the Blushing Bride Medium circles using SNAIL Adhesive.
10) Adhere the Blushing Bride Heart to the Pear Pizzazz Vest using SNAIL Adhesive.
11) Adhere the assembled Owl Body to the Pear Pizzazz Bookmark using SNAIL Adhesive.
12) Using the Craft & Rubber Scissors, cut 2 pieces of the Magnet Sheets to measure 1/4" X 1/4".
13) Adhere them to the inside of the Owl Bookmark using Sticky Strip. Make sure they line up when the Owl Bookmark is closed.

New Offering - Online Club!
| Starting this month, I'm offering an Online Stampers & Scrappers Club. This is for all of you time-crunched Canadian crafters and for those of you not within reasonable driving distance to Burlington, Ontario!
How does it work? You commit to a six month club period. During each of those six calendar months, you place an order for $30 merchandise online at www.yamstamps.stampinup.net Within two days of your order being placed, you'll receive an additional email from me with either links or files for your online club benefits. After your six months in club, you may choose to continue on a monthly basis.
What are the benefits? Besides pacing out your crafting expenditures, you'll receive online benefits - these may take the form of exclusive videos with techniques or projects, step by step instructions for projects or techniques with photos etc...you get the idea. These online/digital benefits will be for club members ONLY.
What's the catch? No catch - just another offering for my customer base. Oh wait - you must live in Canada / have your products shipped within Canada, as only Canadians may place online orders at my website. New members may start at any time.
How does this differ from your other Stampers & Scrappers Club? You don't have to attend in person; you can place your own order at any time during the month at www.yamstamps.stampinup.net; you will not necessarily receive hostess benefits (in person Club members receive hostess benefits, but do not receive the online benefits). If your individual monthly order qualifies for benefits, you will automatically receive them through the online ordering process.
