About Smooch Spritz...
smooch gold
smooch silversmooch whitesmooch brown

These fun sprays are featured in the new Summer Mini Catalogue.  To use them effectively, you need to remember to shake them well before each use or the nozzles can get clogged (ask me how I know this LOL).  The nozzles can be removed and soaked in a household cleaner (Stampin' Up! mentions Windex or 409) and then dried thoroughly before re-attaching.  I would also recommend the use of the Colour Catcher box...which prevents your entire work surface from errant spritzes... (you could also construct one cheaply from a large box, but of course, it's not quite as cute as the Colour Catcher!).  One last reminder - the containers are GLASS so be careful not to drop them.  When you receive your Spritz, it will come in a cardboard sleeve inside a ziploc type bag, so you may want to use those to store them for travel.  Other than that, have fun spritzing your projects to add that special shimmer and shine!!

Colour Renovation
retiring colours

If you've been around the Stampin' Up! world for a while, you will know that in June, Stampin' Up! announces its retiring list - stamps that will not be featured in future catalogues.  This year, Stampin' Up! is doing a big revamp of their colour families.  Pictured above are colours that will no longer be available after June 30th, 2010.  So - how to cope with this?!

1) Stock up on cardstock packages in your favourite colours
2) If you have ink pads, be sure that you have a re-inker for it - these are the best deals in the house.  Your re-inker will ensure that you get YEARS of use from that ink pad, and quality impressions from your stamps.
3) If there is a designer series paper offered in these colours, you can be pretty sure that it will not be in the next catalogue, so again, consider buying stock for your future projects
4) Last but not least, be sure to pick up ribbons etc that coordinate with these colours so you will have matching accessorizing options.

Here's what we have to look forward to - a return of some previous In Colour favourites and some brand new colours to perk up the Stampin' Up! palette.  (YAY Baja Breeze and Pacific Point are back!!)
new colours
Lots to look forward to this summer!  Contact me if you have any questions or need to stock up on some old favourite colours.
I look forward to seeing you soon.  In the meantime - happy crafting!
