This is the mobile that I did as a class last year...thought for some summer fun I'd share this in the newsletter this month!  Feel free to substitute stamp sets or colours of your choice!

SUPPLIES FOR ROCKETSHIP MOBILE

STAMPS:  Pun Fun

CARDSTOCK:  Night of Navy, Pacific Point (original image shows Brilliant Blue), Brushed Gold, Brushed Silver, Whisper White

INK:  StazOn Jet Black

TOOLS & ACCESSORIES:  1-3/4" circle punch, Large Star punch, Star punch, Sticky Strip, Stampin' Write markers of choice, Night of Navy ¼" Grosgrain Ribbon, Crop-a-Dile, Circle Scissor Plus & Glass Cutting Mat, Paper Piercing Tool & Mat Pack

INSTRUCTIONS:

            CREATE ELEMENTS

1)     Stamp rocket from Pun Fun in Stazon Jet Black onto Whisper White cardstock four times

2)     Punch out each rocket using 1-3/4" circle punch

3)     Colour each rocket as desired

4)     Punch four 1-3/4" circles from Brilliant Blue cardstock

5)     Punch six Large Stars from Brushed Gold cardstock, and six from Brushed Silver cardstock

6)     Take 2 Large Silver Stars and 2 Large Gold Stars and adhere one to each of the Brilliant Blue Circles.

7)     Punch 8 (small) Stars from Brushed Gold cardstock, and 8 from Brushed Silver cardstock

CREATE MOBILE BASE

8)     Use Circle Scissor Plus and Glass Cutting Mat to cut two 6" circles from Night of Navy Cardstock

9)     Use paper piercer tool to create a hole in the centre of one of the circles, insert one end of approx 12" of Night of Navy grosgrain ribbon and adhere in place with Sticky Strip.  This will be the ribbon to hang up the mobile.  Set aside

10)  Use Crop-a-Dile to create 4 holes equally spaced around edge of the other 6" circle, insert a strand of Night of Navy ribbon into each hole.  Adhere short end of strand to circle using Sticky Strip.  I used varying lengths of ribbon from 8" to 20"

11)  Adhere these two circles together with Sticky Strip so the long ribbons are on the outside (as per photo)

ASSEMBLE THE MOBILE

12)  Use Sticky Strip to adhere a rocket image onto grosgrain ribbon and a Brilliant Blue circle on the opposite side of the ribbon, repeat on each strand, varying level of the image

13)  Use Sticky Strip to adhere a large silver star onto the grosgrain ribbon, then adhere a large gold star on the opposite side.  Repeat on each strand, varying level of the star

14)  Repeat process with 4 small stars of gold & silver

15)  Adhere remaining small stars to surface of the circle

16)  Hang and enjoy!
