A swap sample for those who live in warmer climes.... (although I do note the snowman and fish are wearing scarves & hats....) Another blue card - night of navy and baja breeze are featured! The ticket corner punch is also used to give some extra interest.
This is another creation by Carmen from the demonstrator swap, featuring the Stampin' Up! stamp set Shellebrate. So cute!
Looks like I managed to meet the challenge of a post a day from early Nov til the end of the month - yay! However, I still have things to share with you all, so be sure to keep checking in. I think I've got the hang of this frequent blog posting idea....lol.
OK here's the update - currently sold out bundles: ALL IN THE FAMILY BUNDLE, *BAGS & TAGS BUNDLE, MISSION EMBOSSABLE BUNDLE, *SANTA'S STOCKING STUFFER BUNDLE. All other bundles continue to be sold while quantities last or until tomorrow night (11:50 mountain time) online.
In the meantime, I'm off to try and finish up (OK OK get started on....) my holiday cards!!
This is a gift card holder that Donna made for the demonstrator swap. A loooot of layers here!! It features the Say it With Scallops stamp set and the Holiday Treasures Designer Series Papers. Stampin' Up! donates $2 to the Ronald McDonald Children's House Charity for every Say it With Scallops stamp set that is sold.
I apologize that this photo is out of focus (it's not your eyes nor your screen....) - but hopefully you still get the idea!! The gift card can be slid into that pocket, and there's still room to write a greeting or even adhere a photo! Donna has created the card based on the colours in the designer series paper - chocolate chip, old olive and ruby red. This is a wonderful way to present a gift card - the "wrapping" is as good as the gift inside!!
(I know, two posts in one day, what's up with that??!!)
The All in the Family bundle AND the Mission Embossable bundle are both already SOLD OUT. Again, the fastest route to ensuring you get the bundle of your choice is to enter your order online at my Stampin' Up! business website, www.yamstamps.stampinup.net - click on the link that says "Shop Now" (or fast track - click on the shop now badge at the top right of my blog).
This is one of the recent scrapbooking club layouts that we did - featuring that glittery snowflake I showed you my experiment on earlier. I am still working on my photo skills, this one is skewed funny, but I couldn't seem to fix it with photoshop. (Not a photoshop issue, more like a user issue!! lol). Anyway....we used the Ski Slope Designer Series Paper - love this particular pattern in baja breeze. The letters are the outline alphabet, stamped in baja breeze.
On this particular paper, we were able to use three of the snowflakes like photo corners. Using the craft knife, we trimmed around a few of the portions of the snowflake and a 4.25" x 6.25" cardstock piece fit in perfectly. We also jazzed it up a bit by adding Dazzling Diamonds glitter with some Two Way Glue. Those who have attended classes or workshops with me will know I'm not big into fussy cutting, but sometimes it's worth the effort!!
A closer shot of the chipboard snowflake - coated with whisper white craft ink, then heat embossed with heat and stick powder and coated with more Dazzling Diamonds glitter. This photo still doesn't do it justice...
Kim is responsible for this great swap card! I love the mini library clip and the staples....goes with the very clean lines of the card. She's used the hostess stamp set Deer Friends, coloured the image with stampin' write markers and added a bit of crystal effects for extra dimension plus a touch of glitter for glitz. The sentiment "sparkle" comes from the Warm Words set, not featured in the current catalogue, but still available on the dormant list. The designer series paper is Ski Slope, from the current Holiday Mini Catalogue. Thanks, Kim!
Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends & blog followers!

Snow Swirled is definitely a favourite holiday set this year! Here's a swap sample from one of the demonstrators in my downline, Kaye. I love the insert she created for her card, providing for an inside that's just as pretty as the outside! A great idea that you can use in your own cards - also makes for goof proof reproductions - if you mess up the insert, it's easier to re-do an insert than to re-do an entire card....lol. Not that Kaye messed up, but that's me speaking as the voice of experience!!
I'm keeping up with the NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month) challenge of a post a day until the end of November...see you tomorrow...
