This card features a couple of single stamps available through Stampin' Up! - Fine Flourish and Butterfly Accent. As my title indicates...I used the kissing technique. In this case, I inked the Fine Flourish stamp with Brocade Blue craft ink, then used that stamp as an "ink pad" for the Butterfly Accent stamp (a solid butterfly image). I "kissed" the rubber surfaces together, then stamped the butterfly onto Whisper White cardstock & embossed with Iridescent Ice embossing powder.
I used a piece of the Sending Love Specialty Designer Series Paper along the bottom of the card. Love how this paper has a glittery pattern on one side of the double sided paper. I used a few of the butterflies from the Beautiful Wings Embosslit that I ran through my Big Shot with some Brocade Blue cardstock.

Don't think that I've shared this photo yet...these are some flower lollies that I made for my TV appearance on CH Morning Live. I used the Flower Folds Bigz XL Die for the Big Shot to create the flowers, then punched a hole in the centre of them with my Crop-a-Dile and slid the stick of the candy through it. Quick and easy - so right up my alley!! LOL. I showed them as an example of something you could give someone on Valentine's Day, but these would also make great party or shower favours / decorations!
I'm trying to focus on preparing for upcoming classes, but keep getting distracted by the TV. Honestly, I don't think I've watched this much TV in ages!! I get all nervous and anxious for the Olympic competitors during their races - thankfully crafting is a great way for me to relax, so look for some more creations in the next while on the yamstamps blog here!

I'm so excited to watch the Winter Olympics Opening Ceremonies today!! I used to live in BC, and still have some ties to the Vancouver area. I was inspired to create a version of the Olympic Rings...Stampin' Up! style. From left to right - Pacific Point (retired In Colour), Summer Sun, Basic Black, Glorious Green and Real Red.
I first punched a circle with the 1-3/8" circle punch, then centred that and used the 1-3/4" circle punch. One slit in each ring allowed me to link them up.
This version of a stair step card uses the wonderful Sending Love specialty designer series paper. I love how one side of each of the sheets features a glittery element. I used the stamp set Love You Much since we're close to Valentine's Day.

I had fun (as always) on CH Morning Live yesterday. Time always seems to fly so I'm not sure if you were able to catch much of a glimpse of this card on air. I used the Heart Shaped Sweet Treat Cups and some Conversation Heart candy (I think that's what they're called...). The Melon Mambo and Bermuda Bay colours are a bright combination for this fun card. The stamped image is from the Sweetheart Stamp set. I love how the images fit the heart shaped sweet treat cups...and how the cups fit perfectly into the opening created by the full heart punch. It's a no-brainer (perfect for me!! LOL). The hearts along the bottom were created with the new small heart punch.
I had a lot of creations that probably didn't get viewed on air, so I'll be posting pictures of them here at yamstamps.com. I'm hoping to have the video of the appearance posted here in the next day or so as well, so be sure to come back to check it out. Until then, thanks for stopping by.

Open - there are 3 pages on each side for a total of 12 photos or stamped images. The sentiment in the centre is from the Well Scripted set in the Occasions Mini Catalogue.

This card was made using the Stampin' Up! Bear Bigz die. I used the Pawsitively Prints Designer Series paper with the Beary Essentials die to create the clothes, and then I used the new Small Heart punch for the heart he's holding.
I'll be taking this sample with me when I appear on TV on Monday (CH Morning Live) - and I'll be getting up slightly earlier - my time slot is now scheduled for 8:10 am!! In the meantime, I'll be back in my stamping room finishing up my other show & tell projects!!
