I'm Certifiable!

I know some of you are saying "I knew that...." LOL.  I just received the official word that I am a Stampin Up My Digital Studio Certified Demonstrator.  What does that mean?  It means I can help you with any questions you have about the software and its use!  As part of the certification program, I attended webinars, completed quizzes and printed product with the software.  (In fact, I'm anticipating delivery of my self-created but professionally-printed Christmas cards in the next couple of days!).

Yes, perhaps another "Day" that you weren't previously aware of?!  I celebrated Digital Scrapbooking Day by playing with Stampin' Up!'s My Digital Studio software.  Stampin' Up! Demonstrators could enroll in a certification course for this software, and I completed the requirements today...nothing like leaving it until the last moment, since the deadline was today...however, I blame that on computer issues, not procrastination!!

Anyway - I created my personal Christmas cards for family this year.  The fun thing with this program is that I can add photos to the cardfront, but I also added a collage of photos to the inside of the card!!  Here's a peek at the cardfront.

It was easy to create - this was a template that I just dragged a photo into...the inside sentiment was a digital stamp...too much fun.

If you're interested in creating your own Christmas cards this year - you have options!  Attend one of my card events to create hand stamped cards, or consider purchasing the My Digital Studio software - you can print your projects at home or have them done professionally through Stampin' Up!'s print services.  One good thing - even though the professionally printed items are coming from the US, because they're done through Stampin' Up!, the shipping costs include handling (and any customs issues!!).   (You can receive My Digital Software at 50% off if your workshop sales are $525 or over - ask me for details!)

My First "My Digital Studio" layout

Guess what was delivered to me today?  Stampin' Up!'s new digital project program!  You can create digital scrapbook layouts, photo books, cards, dvds...

I just had to sit down and play with it for a little while.  Here's my first layout to share - a quickie - used a template, dropped in the photos (able to crop them in place) added in abackground, text and a "stamp" (the words 'sunny days') and here it is!  In all honesty, it took me less than half an hour, most of it spent making decisions on what colours to use and which accessories!  (In the end, I obviously didn't use that many accessories lol).

My first impressions - I find it easy to use.  If you have used Photoshop products, it will feel familiarto you.  If you haven't used Photoshop products, My Digital Studio is very user friendly & there are guides & tips all along the way.  You can use Stampin' Up! images, and embellishments to digitally enhance your digital photos.  Don't just let those photos sit in your computer - share them!!  My Digital Studio is available to my Stampin' Up! customers on October 1st.  Contact me for more information or to reserve your copy!!
