And the restoration continues....

I'm _still_ downloading files to my computer and it's using up a lot of resources, so I'm focusing on getting that done...it's been a bit of a challenge trying to finish up my monthly newsletter (fingers crossed, due out today).  May I just say, though, how happy I am that I backed up online?!  As much of a pain as this has been, I know how much more painful it could have been....lost pictures, lost audio, lost documents...  As it is, I've been operating without my calendar & contacts files and I feel a little bewildered at times (more so than usual, I mean! LOL).  I look forward to getting this all wrapped up soon so that I can edit & upload some new samples for you soon!!

(I mean, after I finish all the prep for the Holiday Stamp a Stack this Friday LOL)

A reminder about retiring In Colours

On June 1st Stampin' Up! will start announcing their retiring items from the current Idea Book and Catalogue. While we don't know for sure what will be on the Last Chance List, one thing is always CERTAIN - we know for sure the the lovely In-Colours for the 2008-09 year will be replaced with fresh new colours.
If you really love these colours, it's best to stock up on cardstock etc. NOW.  I strongly recommend that if you have an ink pad, you purchase the coodinating reinker (if you haven't already!).  That way, you can continue stamping in these lovely colours for a looooong time to come.

Card Clinic Samples

  This is a card that I've done in previous holiday seasons....I love the soft effect of the background of trees!  This is an option for my Christmas Card Clinic (Nov 6, 10, 14, all 7-9 pm).  $25 for 10 cards with envelopes, $2.50 for each additional card. 

The Card Clinic photo album is up - so if you've already rsvp'd, please take a look at the album and select the design you'd like to create.  I'll have the supplies ready and waiting for you at the clinic!  Since your cards will be the same design, I'll be able to help you out with how to easily "mass produce" them.  So if you're in the Burlington area, it's a great opportunity to make your own holiday cards. 

In this age of electronics, Christmas is often the one time of year we'll send out this volume of cards in the mail - so why not make it extra special??!!  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me!

World Cardmaking Day

Thanks to those that made it out to my World Cardmaking Day Stamp a Stack in Mississauga!!  We had a great time, and collected a whack of food for the foodbank - congrats to Lorna who won the draw for the package of Stampin' Up! goodies (all who brought a donation were included in the draw).  Participants also walked away with 10 cards ready to send out (or 5 to send out and 5 to keep as prototypes for future cards...you know who you are....lol).  Unfortunately I forgot my camera (DOH) so no pics of the event...but happy memories.
